Turley appoints and promotes in Manchester

Turley has appointed three new planners to its Manchester team, hiring from IBI Group, Ainscough Strategic Land, and its own engagement department.

Associate director Felicity Collins joins from IBI; Jack Dickinson, assistant planner, from Ainscough Strategic Land; and Adam Buxton, assistant planner, moves across from Turley’s engagement team.

Andrew Bickerdike, who has been with Turley since 2007, has been promoted to director and Anna Relph, Peter Rowe and Lewis Evans have been made associate directors.

Stephen Bell, senior director at Turley and head of planning for the North, said: “We fully support the ongoing debate around realising the Northern Powerhouse and the need for greater Government assistance, but the Northern core cities in particular are already making great strides, competing not just nationally but internationally.

“The appetite for investing in the main cities of the North shows no signs of abating. Coupled with a continuing strong residential market, the focus of the logistics sector on the North’s transport networks, ongoing educational investment, and exploring the potential of the shale gas resource, there is significant development activity and we are seeing increased demand for our broad planning offer.

“These appointments and well deserved promotions will ensure we continue to provide a first-class and local service across the Northern regions.”
