Trio of deals signals Heywood’s health

Segro has completed three deals totaling 300,000 sq ft at Heywood Distribution Park in Rochdale.
JD Sports, Character Options and Parcelforce have all taken space at the large logistics hub.
Global toy distributor Character Options has taken 128,168 sq ft unit M6, while the Royal Mail Group subsidiary Parcelforce has leased units B9 and B2, which total 142,760 sq ft at a rental of £5/sq ft.
JD Sports, which already occupies 81,300 sq ft at the park, has taken another 30,700 sq ft.
The deals closely follow a letting to Eddie Stobart for around 103,000 sq ft.
The joint agents on Heywood Distribution Park are King Sturge and Savills.
