TP Bennett expands into Ancoats
Architectural, interiors and planning practice TP Bennett has grown its Manchester office with a lease on 3,000 sq ft within the grade two-listed Royal Mills in Ancoats, and has relocated from King Street.
TP Bennett opened its first office outside of London in Manchester in 2014, and since then has secured large instructions including the brief to design DLA Piper’s 45,000 sq ft office in One St Peter’s Square.
According to TP Bennett, the practice has grown across its Manchester and London offices by 34% in the last 12 months.
The fit-out of TP Bennett’s office at Royal Mills was designed by the practice, and is set around an open plan layout with a mix of collaborative working areas.
Leigh Dimelow, head of the Manchester office, said: “Since we opened in July 2014 we have developed a significant pipeline of projects and built a strong and successful team. Manchester continues to develop as a great place to work and live and we’re pleased to extend our commitment to the city with this new office.”
The practice is working with a portfolio of clients including Bruntwood, Genr8, DLA Piper and Freshfields, and has a long-standing relationship with framework clients including HSBC, Barclays, Nationwide and the BBC.
The agent working with TP Bennett on the lease was Knight Frank.
