Total makes £10m industrial sale

Total Developments has sold 100,000 sq ft of warehouses in Wigan and Wardsley to Infrared for £10.15m.

The portfolio of two units includes the 55,000 sq ft Epic 50 in Wigan, which was let to 3P Logistics in November, and the 52,500 sq ft Pinnacle 52 in Wardley.

M1 advised Total Developments whilst DTRE represented Infrared.

The deals coincided with other Total warehouse sales in Leeds and Bedford, delivering £30m in transactions.

Total Developments’ chief executive Ed Chantler, said: “Despite a tough Q4 of 2019 from a political perspective, we managed to secure some excellent lettings and investment sales.

“Our focus remains on delivering high spec and institutionally acceptable mid-box warehousing in great locations. We are lucky not to have any void space across our portfolio and have a record of being 95% plus let by the time we complete the build of each site. We are still very acquisitive for more land across the UK. These timely disposals will allow us to reinvest our capital in new development opportunities across the UK.”
