Together aims to expand £39m Cheadle headquarters

The specialist lender, which signed a 25-year lease renewal for its Cheadle Royal Business Park home, will be submitting a planning application to Stockport Council in the next few months.

Together has been headquartered at the business park since 2012, when it first opened its offices at Lake View. Later it took over neighbouring building 1 Lakeside. Combined, the two buildings offer Together 93,900 sq ft of office space and car parking.

The proposed expansion, designed by 5plus Architects, is a link to join the two buildings together, adding a reception area and foyer. It will also have informal meeting spaces, lounge areas and a cafe.

“This new lease and our expansion plans underline our commitment to Cheadle Royal Business Park and the wider, thriving commercial property market in Manchester,” said Together commercial chief executive officer Marc Goldberg.

“It also signals our loyalty to our 750 colleagues, in providing a modern and accessible workspace for them,” he continued.

Together is in the middle of a recruitment drive and is actively hiring 52 new positions.

Together has was founded more than 47 years ago and has a loan book of more than £4bn.
