Threadneedle to rebrand Southport arcade

Threadneedle Property Investments has launched a new marketing and PR campaign for the Southport shopping arcade Cambridge Walks, located just off Lord Street.

Southport-based Concept PR has been appointed to create a new campaign for the arcade, which is central to the cultural quarter development being planned by Sefton Council, with a two year refurbishment of the Arts Centre, library and art gallery amongst its plans.

The initial campaign will run alongside the refurbishment of the shopping arcade and will aim to attract new tenants to the vacant units. The second stage will be designed to boost awareness of the arcade to shoppers and increase footfall.

Margaret Tarpey, managing director at Concept PR, said "We are delighted to have the opportunity to work on this project which has come at a time when so much is happening in Southport. The Concept team is looking forward to announcing the arcade's exciting new name and branding. Cambridge Walks is an important part of the Town's retail offering and we are convinced the new identity will once again see it become a vibrant retail destination in Southport town centre."

Threadneedle Property Investments recently sold The Chill Out, a 178,000 sq ft distribution facility in St Helens, to 151 Products.

Glad to see that people are putting this work out to tender! I think there will be a lot of companies that do branding and marketing in southport, will be wondering why they had not been approached! Concept PR are not a branding company so will be interesting to see what they produce.
