The Rhead Group moves to Merchant’s Place
The Rhead Group's northern office is to be relocated to Charles Topham's Merchant's Place office development in Bolton town centre.
The construction programme management company is due to move its 20-strong team from its current home in Chorley New Road to Merchant's Place in December.
Taking its team to the new offices will make The Rhead Group Merchant's Place's first external permanent tenants, and will also cement The Rhead Group's regionalisation strategy, which included plans for the northern office to manage the company's projects and client base in the north of the UK.
The group has taken around 2,000 sq ft, and although no rental price has been disclosed, the average price per square foot in Bolton at the moment is £14.
Andrew Ferguson, managing director of The Rhead Group, said: "The strategy has been a huge success, with our Bolton office serving a significant level of our UK business.
"We are delighted to have the opportunity to expand in this important region in the UK and continue our growth strategy through the move to the new location in the centre of Bolton, with provision for additional staff and further investment."
