Styles & Wood hires fintech specialist

Property services group Styles & Wood has appointed Ian Wilson as managing executive of governance, risk and compliance software as the business targets growth opportunities for its technology arm.

Wilson has 27 years’ experience in the financial services industry including senior business development roles with software providers Hitec Laboratories, Sopra Group and Pancredit.

Styles & Wood Technologies provides business management, building intelligence and “big data” analytics software to clients including Nationwide Building Society. The new role is intended to support the diversification of the firm’s suite of products.

Tony Lenehan, group ‎chief executive, said: “Styles & Wood Technologies has amassed a portfolio of household name clients, for whom we have developed bespoke software systems that help them to operate more effectively, both in their property estates and beyond.

“Ian has an impressive track record with a range of fintech brands and his appointment will help us to continue to grow and diversify the range of added-value technology services we can offer to new and existing clients.”

Headquartered in Sale, Styles & Wood’s services include design, building intelligence systems, facilities solutions and fit-out and refurbishment services.
