String of hires at SDA
Salford-based construction consultant SDA has announced a series of new appointments to its project management and quantity surveying team.
Martin Thompson has joined from Arcadis in the role of senior associate. He will have responsibility for further developing the project management service delivery team and has more than 13 years’ experience as a project manager and chartered quantity surveyor, directing projects in a wide range sectors.
Ant Jackson has been appointed as associate from Faithful & Gould and has 21 years’ experience, which includes education, local authority and office development.
The role of project quantity surveyor has been taken by Kate Winstanley, who joins from Construction Q. Winstanley has six years’ experience gained on both the contractor and client side.
These appointments follow on from the recent addition of Simon Capp who joined SDA from CS2 as senior associate in the building surveying team. Capp brings over 17 years’ experience as a chartered building surveyor.

The new hires will be joining SDA’s Salford office, creating a 25-strong team.
