Stelios agrees deal with Alliance
Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou's easyOffice has signed a management agreement with Property Alliance Group for 14,000 sq ft at Devonshire House in central Manchester.
EasyOffice will offer 260 furnished workstations priced from £45/week each, booked on a weekly basis with no upfront charges or fixed contracts. There will also be meeting rooms and on site car parking.
Alliance has refurbished the building on George Street, off New York Street and Piccadilly Gardens and is installing a new reception and entrance.
David Russell, chairman of Alliance, said: "I know how important it is to control costs as you turn your idea into a developing company. easyOffice, with its competitive rates, will keep office rent to a minimum.
"Taking into account the changing market we have seen an increasing requirement for flexible office space and saw great synergy in working together with easyOffice to bring this successful business model to fruition in Manchester, providing an alternative to the typical business centre already in existence.
Haji-Ioannou's added: "This expansion sees us ahead of targets to deliver affordable office rates in great locations to major towns and cities in the UK.
"Opening in Manchester represents our strategic aim to take the easyOffice concept out of London and make it accessible to entrepreneurs and start ups in other parts of the UK."
The easyOffice Manchester will open in June 2010.
