St Modwen bags ScS at Stonebridge
Developer St Modwen has let a 32,000 sq ft unit to the furniture and flooring specialist at its Stonebridge Business Park in Liverpool.
ScS will take on a 10-year lease, transferring to the warehouse on the A580 East Lancs Road from a smaller unit in Warrington.
The 30-acre park sits close to junction 4 of the M57 and is home to companies including DPD and UK Storage, as well as Boels Group and Almond Catering.
A 52,000 sq ft unit has been delivered as part of the scheme’s third phase which is available for immediate occupation.
Stuart Murray, development director at St Modwen said: “Stonebridge Business Park is a key site in the North West and plays an important role in driving development in the region.
“The impact of Covid-19 hasn’t wavered the attraction of major businesses such as ScS to the scheme, which is testament to its location and the speculative units available.”
Jonathan Lowe, director of Avison Young, joint agent for the wider Stonebridge scheme, added: “Despite the challenges of the current climate, to have secured this latest tenant for St. Modwen at Stonebridge is really encouraging and clearly demonstrates the continuing demand and resilience in the market.”
ScS was advised by Mason Partners. St Modwen was advised by Avison Young and Knight Frank.
