Speedrite takes last 11,000 sq ft at Ashburton Point
The Sale-based plant and machinery installation and relocation company has moved to the scheme, meaning the estate in Trafford Park is now fully let.
Speedrite has signed a 10-year lease on the operational facility in a deal brokered by JLL on behalf of DTZ Investors.
Ashburton Park site hosts 25 units within five sheds on a 22-acre plot off Wheel Forge Way.
The 11,000 sq ft unit will serve Speedrite as a critical logistics and distribution hub and includes two level-access loading doors, high bay warehouse lighting, three-phase electricity, and a gated secure yard.
Gary Fittes, director at Speedrite, said: “Everything we do is about precision, safety, and delivering on time, and our new base at Ashburton Point gives us the ideal platform to do just that.
“The space, the access, and the location all work for the scale and speed of the projects we take on across the UK.”
Meghan Kavanagh, chartered surveyor at JLL, added: “Speedrite is exactly the kind of ambitious and specialist operator Trafford Park is built to support.
“We’re really pleased to have helped them secure a base that fits their growth and technical demands.
“Now at full occupancy, Ashburton Point demonstrates the continued demand for premium industrial space in one of the North West’s most strategically connected locations.”
Tenants at Trafford Park benefit from connectivity to the M60 and Manchester Airport, as well as being less than three miles from Manchester city centre.
Other leaseholders at Ashburton Point include Stobart Group, DHL, Lindab, and LUR.
