SpectrumX signs at Novus
Northwood Urban Logistics has let 16,000 sq ft to the medical research and development company, following the acquisition of the wider 130,000 sq ft Knutsford scheme earlier this year.
SpectrumX has signed a 10-year lease on unit eight at Novus.
The company joins occupiers including Sytner, Oliver Valves and Wellness Trading, which have taken a combined 60,000 sq ft at the development in the last 12 months.
Novus comprises nine units and spans 16 acres. The £10m Haig Road scheme is located close to Parkgate Industrial Estate.
In January, Northwood acquired Novus from Chancerygate as part of a portfolio acquisition that included assets in Livingston, Aintree, Norwich and Cheltenham.
The SpectrumX letting is the first since Novus changed hands.
Damien Hancox, chief executive at SpectrumX, said: “Novus was the perfect fit for our business. We share, and are passionate about, the long-term sustainability goals that have encompassed this development and look forward to being here for many years to come.”
JLL advised Northwood Urban Logistics with Williams Sillitoe acting as the joint letting agent. B8RE advised for SpectrumX.
Great that companies such as SpectrumX are choosing to set up in the North West and that we are producing buildings of the right quality to attract them.
