Speaker confirmed for Retrofit Salford 2011
Tom Traynor, construction manager at ISG, has been confirmed as a guest speaker for Salford University's forthcoming housing retrofit conference and unveiling of its Energy House project.
Traynor will be speaking about retrofitting from a contractor's perspective.

Other guest speakers are still to be confirmed.
In May last year, the university announced it will be constructing a replica pre-1920s house within a laboratory to study domestic energy consumption to be known as Energy House.
ISG, main contractor of the Energy House project, is principle sponsor of the conference running at the university on Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 January.
Salford University said the Energy House project and conference, titled Retrofit Salford 2011, are a response to the sustainability challenge presented by the UK's ageing housing stock.
The university said statistics from the Communities and Local Government English House Condition Survey 2007 Annual Report show that 70% of the country's residential property will still be inhabited in 2050 and 91% of all UK homes would benefit substantially from improvements in energy efficiency. It added that improved insulation and boiler upgrades alone could see heating emissions reduced by 22%.
