Sigma Capital grows Manchester team

The residential and urban regeneration firm has expanded its site and marketing team with two hires.

Jason Berry has joined as the sites and operations director from his previous role as a technical director at Morris Homes. He also previously held roles at Taylor Wimpey North West and Watkins Jones Group.

Berry is now responsible for land identification, acquisition and commencement of design and build contracts in the North West and the Midlands.

This news comes after Sigma announced its plans for expansion after publishing its half-year results in September.

Of his appointment Berry said: “The Sigma PRS offer is unique, so this is a fantastic opportunity for me to work with the team who have created the PRS model and continue its successful roll out across the country.

“The residential market and the government’s requirement to facilitate more new housing continues to challenge the industry, so it really is an exciting time to work for the Company. Sigma’s offer to provide new family housing, re-establish communities and accelerate housing delivery is exemplary and something that I’m very pleased to be part of.”

Alice Mackenzie has also joined the Manchester team as a marketing assistant. She will be developing social media content, marketing materials and website content. The pair join a team of 15.
