Development advisors to steer Engine of the North

Cheshire East Council is seeking to appoint a private supplier to draw up development frameworks, starting with a project to build 3,000 modular starter homes in the borough over the next five years.

The council is inviting tender bids through its development subsidiary, Engine of the North. The appointed suppliers will provide development, procurement, marketing and contract management services.

The contract term is an initial three years with additional years possible. The budget is estimated at £2m, with a profit-share agreement between Engine of the North and the appointed delivery partner.

The deadline for expressions of interest is midday on 22 August 2016. Cheshire East is using European Union funding for the contract.

Can we speak to someone in regards to this proposal as we have a modular starter home fully developed and accredited but also have a Framework in place that would allow you to procure directly. It may be worth an early chat?

Please let me have your thoughts.

Thanks. Wayne Morgan: CEO: F1 Modular Ltd
