Rossendale school seeks contractors for new £7m college

Alder Grange Community and Technology School has published a tender for a £6-7m contract for the construction of a new Post 16 College at its campus in Rossendale, Lancashire.

The 15-month contract involves the construction of the building, which comprises learning and social spaces over 2-3 floors in a split level arrangement on a sloping site linking the school with an adjacent primary school.

Tenders will be sought on a two stage basis or as determined by the school and contractors must notify it is willing to submit a tender on this basis.

Deadline for submitting tenders is Tuesday 5 May.

Hartington Fleming and Worsley Architects are the chosen architects on the project.
