Roger Hannah buys property consultancy
Roger Hannah & Co has acquired Guest Garsden Chartered Surveyors. Partners Lynne Garsden and Jeremy Banks, and PA Jacque Kenny, have relocated into Roger Hannah’s Manchester office.
The combined business will have 40 members of staff.
Michael Guest, who was a consultant at Guest Garsden, will not be moving across to Roger Hannah. John Broadbent, who was a director and operated his own consultancy within Guest Garsden, left in January this year and is now working out of Livingcity Group’s head office in Manchester.
Guest Garsden was based in Pall Mall Court, in Manchester’s King Street. Roger Hannah’s offices are at St Mary’s Parsonage.
Simon Cook, director of Roger Hannah & Co, said: “Guest Garsden have a strong development trading presence and professional expertise in the Manchester market. Both Lynne Garsden and Jeremy Banks, who are joining us, will be invaluable members of our team as the business grows.
“The last 12 months has seen our turnover grow by 20% and the skills that will be brought to us by the Guest Garsden team will assist us in expanding further.”
Lynne Garsden, speaking of the merger, said: “We are excited to be joining together with Roger Hannah & Co as they are already an established regional practice with an excellent reputation. Culturally we are very well suited and there will be strong synergies for both parties.”
