Robinson named director of strategic growth at WSP
Sandra Robinson has secured a promotion at the multidisciplinary consultancy’s UK branch.
Robinson was previously the technical director of strategic growth at WSP. She has worked for the company for more than eight years, starting in February 2016 as a business development manager. Her CV also includes roles at Tobermore, Keyline, and Travis Perkin.
Regarding her promotion, Robinson said: “I am thrilled to step into this role and spearhead our initiatives aimed at fostering growth within the Greater Manchester region.
“Our focus on the public sector is crucial, as we aim to enhance community services, support sustainable development, and contribute to the region’s economic progress,” she continued.
“By leveraging innovative solutions and strengthening partnerships, we are committed to creating a vibrant and resilient future for Greater Manchester.”
Robinson is based at WSP’s Manchester office.

WSP is involved in multiple projects across the North West. Current schemes include Campus Living Villages’ plans for 1,585 student beds in Salford, Muse’s civil service hub in Blackpool, and PLP’s 350,000 sq ft industrial project in Tyldesley.
