Roberts brought in as Riddell consultant

The former head of Cushman & Wakefield in Manchester, and Derwent Estates, has secured a new role with investment and asset management business Riddell TPS.

Riddell TPS was set up by director Gareth Riddell more than 20 years ago, and has recruited Roberts to work alongside Riddell and fellow director Andy Crompton as consultant director of investment.

Roberts was previously former head of the Manchester office and partner for capital markets at Cushman & Wakefield. After the company’s merger with DTZ, he acted as director of development and PRS. He then joined Derwent Estates as managing director in 2016, but left at the start of this year to work in consultancy positions.

Roberts said: “I’m really excited about joining a well-respected, niche Manchester practice to develop its client-base and help grow the team. I’ll be actively seeking new investment opportunities across the commercial property spectrum as well as the ever expanding ‘Build to Rent’ sector. I will also be focussed on winning new asset management/property management mandates to build upon Riddelltps’s already well-established management portfolio.”
