RLB appoints head of new healthcare unit

Rider Levett Bucknall has appointed Conor Ellis from Critica as head of its newly created healthcare property team, based out of its Manchester office.

Ellis has been involved in the healthcare sector for over 20 years, including 10 years in hospital management. He has held management roles in the private sector working for Tribal and EC Harris, now called Arcadis.

He said: “The team at RLB has a great record of working closely with its clients and I look forward to joining them to collaborate with clinical commissioning groups, trusts, government agencies, investors, contractors and the design community to improve patient, staff and carers environments and outcomes. With a global reach at RLB, my role will be to work closely with the organisation’s health team to ensure our best practice is transferred to our clients.”

RLB is currently working with a range of healthcare customers including Public Health England, NHS England, University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, and more.
