RJP hires from Jacobs
David Green has joined the planning practice as associate, growing the Manchester team to three.
Green was previously principal town planner at Jacobs for two years, before joining RJP this month. While at Jacobs he led Cheshire’s Poynton relief road planning application that was approved this year, as well as obtaining planning permission at Anchorsholme’s wastewater treatment works in Blackpool.
He joins principal Ruth Jackson and chartered planner Deborah Baker Barnett in the Queens Chambers office on John Dalton Street.
In his position as associate, Green will help deliver major projects including a potential urban extension in Merseyside.
Jackson said: “David is an ambitious, dynamic town planner who brings added expertise to our team. We have an increasing amount of strategic infrastructure and residential work to deliver and David will play a key role in looking after our clients and their projects.”
RJP opened in 2011 and has advised on residential delivery and commercial development. The firm is a partner in Manchester City of Trees and is also working with Mott MacDonald and Network Rail on the Northern Powerhouse Rail programme.
