RIBA/Nationwide student award winners go on display

Building society Nationwide and the RIBA are hosting an exhibition of designs by students for a sustainable housing competition at the Cube gallery in Manchester's Portland Street.

The annual contest was open to undergraduate architecture and design students and is run in conjunction with the RIBA Competitions office. Students were asked to concentrate on the themes of urban environment, new build and communities.

The winners were announced in February in London, where the exhibition was first shown.

The Cube exhibition runs from 20 March to 18 April. Admission is free
