Retailers endorse MCR centre in Huyton
Aneel Mussarat´s MCR Property Group has confirmed a series of lettings at its 100,000 sq ft Cavendish Walk retail scheme in Huyton, Merseyside.
The latest deals at the centre, already anchored by a 30,000 sq ft Wilkinsons Store, bring Gamestation, Perfect Home, Costa Coffee and Cash Connector to units ranging from 1,200 sq ft to 3,500 sq ft.
Existing tenants include Carphone Warehouse, Adams Childrenswear, New Look, Select Ladieswear, Fragrance Shop and First Choice.
Seven units remain to let by retained agents Tushingham Moore and Hitchcock Wright & Partners.
Mussarat said: "An increasing number of retailers are attracted to Huyton thanks to the significant amount of public and private investment, which the town and surrounding area has received. Cavendish Walk has further strengthened the retail offer in Huyton by complementing the adjoining Asda Walmart store."
Jeremy Simpson, partner at Tushingham Moore, said: "With the scheme already anchored by New Look and Wilkinsons, we were confident the development would draw in a healthy mix of retailers and we now look towards letting the remaining units to further improve the retail buoyancy of the town."
