Redsun wraps up at Riverview

The developer has completed the third and final phase of its business park in Bromborough comprising three industrial units totalling 114,000 sq ft, and agreed a deal to let the remaining 30,000 sq ft of the complex.

The deal with food manufacturer Sun Valley Peanuts takes Riverview Business Park to fully let, after online fashion retailer Oh Polly and investment firm District Estates bought 70,000 sq ft and 14,000 sq ft respectively last year.

Previous phases of the project, which forms part of Wirral International Business Park, included seven units totalling 140,000 sq ft on nearby Riverwood Road.

Occupiers of earlier phases include Swiss-Swedish automation firm ABB, retailer Regal Wholesale, food export firm Smylie, and engineer Bibby Precision Engineering.

The third phase, Riverview Business Park, was built on a seven-acre plot off Riverview Road, which Redsun Projects bought from Wirral Council for £750,000.

Craig Booton, director of Redsun Projects, said: “Bromborough has been a strong location for us and it is great to sign off the third and final phase of Riverview Business Park with three successful deals.

“This is the second time we’ve developed a facility for Oh Polly and we look forward to seeing their further growth over the coming years.”

He added: “We have just started on-site elsewhere in Bromborough and have a further 35 acres in the pipeline across the region and so look forward to bringing forward more completed developments over the next year.”

The scheme’s main contractor Portal Construction North West started construction of Riverview last August and C4 Projects was the architect.

B8 Real Estate and Legat Owen are the sales and lettings agents for the development.
