Raft of deals secured at Manchester business park

Kennedy Wilson has welcomed five new tenants to Towers Business Park in Didsbury across deals totalling 37,000 sq ft.

Essity, NCC Education, I Love Cosmetics, Sitel Group, and a national housebuilder have signed leases at the Manchester office complex averaging eight years, bringing the Park to 95% occupied.

The new arrivals join existing tenants including Syngenta, British Airways, Cisco, Regus, and Hitchenor Wakeford.

The new deals, which follow a program of “sustainability-focused improvements, represent an increase in rental values of more than 30% over previous head-line rents, to £29/sq ft, according to Kennedy Wilson.

CBRE, Colliers, and Edwards & Co acted for Kennedy Wilson.

“These recent lettings are highly encouraging and demonstrate there is still strong demand from occupiers focused on attracting their staff back to the office by providing them with a dynamic environment to gather and collaborate,” said Matthew Milroy, managing director of Kennedy Wilson Europe.

“Towers Business Park ticks all the boxes in terms of quality, sustainability, and wellness.”

Kennedy Wilson acquired Towers Business Park in 2016 for £82m from US investor Lone Star.

The complex is made up of 10 offices, totalling 289,100 sq ft.
