QVC scans region for new headquarters

QVC has shortlisted six sites across Manchester and Merseyside for a new headquarters of up to 230,000 sq ft.
The list includes Peel's Media City in Salford Quays and Allied London's Spinningfields in Manchester city centre as well as sites near the television channel's existing 800,000 sq ft call centre and depot in Knowsley.
Drivers Jonas last year conducted a study of sites within the M25 and the board is still considering the option of a South East base instead of one of the North West sites.
QVC requires a site of around 2.5 acres to house the office and broadcasting base.
