Queen gets £400,000/acre for Crewe car showroom site
The Queen's Duchy of Lancaster property investment trust has sold a 2.5-acre site on University Way in Crewe for a motor dealership.
The unnamed private buyer is in advanced talks with an operator for the deadlership, which will sit next to the newly opened Bristol Street Ford showroom.
Matthew Pochin, director of Lamont, joint agent for the Duchy with Robert Stephens & Co, said the land fetched in excess of £400,000/acre.
The site is close to Highcross and Graftongate's Orion Park industrial estate.
