Pumpfields launches Metalworks apartments

Pumpfields Regeneration Company has started marketing apartments to investors as it prepares for construction of its Metalworks development in Leeds Street, Liverpool.

Metalworks achieved planning permission last month and will comprise two interconnected apartment blocks.

Completion of Metalworks’ first phase is expected in late 2018. A main contractor has yet to be appointed, an announcement is due shortly, according to Pumpfields.

Investors are being offered 7% assured annual returns for two years on flats starting at £99,000. The development will contain 314 units, made up of one-bedroom apartments and two-bedroom duplexes.

Pumpfields Regeneration Company is a development arm of BLOK Architecture, which designed Metalworks. Antonio Garcia, director of Pumpfields Regeneration Company and BLOK principal, said: “With The Metalworks we’ve designed an elegant, functional and ideally situated development that will make urban living a real pleasure. The local economy is in a continued period of growth, so there has never been a better time to invest, or live, in Liverpool city centre and we’re pleased to be working with an experienced, capable team to play our role in its expansion.

“Pumpfields is the most exciting regeneration zone in the city and The Metalworks represents its flagship project. We’ve played on the use of metal throughout the detailing of the development, adding to the aesthetic of these bold, interconnected city blocks and providing a tip of the hat to the industrial heritage of the area.”
