Promotions at Beever & Struthers

Helen Armstrong has been promoted to partner in the expanding not-for-profit, social housing and charity team of accountant and business advisor Beever & Struthers.

Her promotion follows the Manchester-based firm's recent appointment of Sue Hutchinson from BDO as audit director.

Armstrong will continue to work primarily in the not-for-profit sector with a focus on internal audit and business assurance, schools and education and also private sector clients.

Beever & Struthers now has five partners in the division. The firm has a total of 21 partners and more than 170 employees across three offices in Manchester, Blackburn and London.

Armstrong said: "As our workload increases in line with a strengthening economy, it's an exciting time to become partner at a growing firm that provides excellent client care and a range of high quality services."

Meanwhile, Richard Williams, who joined Beever & Struthers in 2008 after 16 years at firms including KPMG and Baker Tilly, has been promoted to audit director.
