Pozzoni to take Colliers’ Manchester helm

The property advisory firm’s current director of the Manchester office, Peter Gallagher, is moving to a client consultancy role and its national offices head Dominic Pozzoni is taking the reins.

The leadership changes will take effect from 1 January.

Tony Horrell, Colliers International’s chief executive of the UK & Ireland, said: “Colliers is a market leader in the North West, and this is in part because of Peter’s tireless efforts. We are grateful that he will remain with us providing expert advice to property owners and investors.

“Looking to the future, I have no doubt that Dom will continue to drive growth, inspire the team and deliver service excellence in his new role.

“His established reputation and embodiment of the company’s core values make him a natural fit to succeed Peter and accelerate our success in Manchester, one of the most dynamic and rapidly expanding cities in Europe.”

Pozzoni joined Colliers’ Manchester in 2016 as head of the offices team, building up a track record in letting high-value schemes and identifying investment opportunities.

Prior to joining Colliers, he spent 12 years at developer Property Alliance Group, mainly focussing on the delivery of mixed-use schemes with residential and hotel elements.

During his career, he has been involved in some of the North West’s largest mixed-use schemes and advised property developers and landowners throughout the UK and region on deals.

Pozzoni said: “It will be a privilege to lead the team in Manchester, who are a talented group of people and among the best in our industry, advising high profile clients throughout the North West on all sectors including capital markets, offices, logistics, hotels, residential, property management, valuation, development and project consultancy.

“I look forward to continuing the trajectory Peter has established and leading Colliers in the North West into the future.”

Colliers Manchester employs 60 staff. In his new role, Gallagher – who has been in his current post for two years – will provide consultancy services on some of the firm’s larger development projects.
