Portfolio strategy director appointed at Views
Nick Wiggans has been promoted to the senior position and will now lead the analysis and underwriting of the Macclesfield-based residential investor and developer’s capital allocation.
Views’ current pipeline in on track to have construction begin on 240 homes by 2027.
The company has £90m to deploy by 2028 according to its website. It is actively seeking investment opportunities in the residential sector, including larger development sites, apartment blocks, HMOs, and conversion opportunities.
Wiggans role as portfolio strategy director will involve underwriting investment opportunities and tracking how well committed capital is performing.
He has been with the company for nearly three years and his promotion to the director position was a no brainer, according to Views co-chief executive Shoaib Muhammad.
“Nick’s unique background across investment funds, BTR, conversion and new build projects have all come into play since he joined us and he was the obvious choice for the role,” Muhammad said.
“It’s very important for us to employ the right people and we like to grow from within, where we can,” he continued. “Nick has done the job in all but title for a while now, so formalising it was straightforward.
“His range across investment funds, BTR, conversion and new build gives us a clearer view of where our capital is working and where the market is moving. He is also willing to tell us when we are wrong, which is exactly what the role needs”

Views was founded in 2018. Its current projects include 66 homes on the former Burnage Cricket Club site off Mauldeth Road, 53 homes on the former USDAW trade union office site off Wilmslow Road, and 42 flats off the Curry Mile – all in Manchester.
