PNW Scheming Nuala Gallagher WFI

PODCAST | Scheming with Nuala Gallagher

This week on Scheming, Liverpool City Council’s corporate director of city development chats with Place North West about looking to mainland Europe for placemaking inspiration, bringing a beach to London, and setting a new tone in Liverpool.

Listen to the podcast

Scheming is a brand-new Place North podcast series that provides some of the biggest names in property the chance to talk about three schemes they think about a lot:

  • The one they are most proud of
  • The one they wish they had done
  • Their dream scheme

As well as discussing her three schemes, Gallagher talked about the work going on within the city council to change perceptions and not wanting to “strategize to death”.

An architect by trade, Gallagher’s career has seen her work in New York, London, and plenty of other places in between. During the podcast, she talks about some of what she has learned with Place North West deputy editor Dan Whelan.

This episode of Scheming is supported by Regeneration Brainery.

Set up by the property industry for the property industry, the not-for-profit Regeneration Brainery works with thousands of young people from under-represented backgrounds every year to give them access to life-changing careers in the property industry.
