Pochin’s hands over Radius HQ

Radius Payment Solutions has opened its £14m headquarters at Crewe Business Park, a project delivered By Pochin’s and designed by AEW.

Pochin’s acted as developer and main contractor on the flagship development for the Sunday Times Top Track 100 business, which will base more than 500 employees at the site. The 66,000 sq ft building fronts Electra Way and is close to a 32,800 sq ft building also being progressed by Pochin’s for Radius, a global fuel cards business.

Consultants on the project were How Planning, ABA Consultants, Abacus and SI Sealy, with Legat Owen and Matthews & Goodman the retained agents.

Bill Homes, chief executive of Radius, said: “The opening of the new HQ is a crucial moment in Radius’ history and even more important that it is based in Crewe. We have tried to build a mix of professional workspace with some nice relaxation and informal areas to create a great environment for our employees.

“We now have a modern base which will further enhance our ability to attract new talent.”

The four-storey building includes an on-site gym, café and informal areas with pool table, PlayStations and table tennis.

Bob Nicholson, director of Pochin’s, said: “This is a stand-out commercial development for the region, matching the success of one of its leading businesses. It has been a pleasure to work with Radius to develop such a high quality working environment.”
