Pochin joins Christie’s Cycle Challenge
Staff from Cheshire-based property group Pochin are taking part in the Cycle Challenge in aid of NHS Christie's Hospital Trust, aiming to ride the length of Britain this weekend.
Heading the team, David Pochin, commented: "The cycle challenge normally takes an average of 14 days to complete, however we wanted to take things slightly further to make this cycle even more challenging. We will be pedalling day and night to reach our goal and hope to raise a significant amount of money for Pochin's main charity, Christies Hospital, in the process."
The Cycle Challenge will take the team from Lands End to John O'Groat as it works in a continual relay of three small teams to complete the 870 miles and 37,620 feet of ascents in record time.
Riding in the Pochin team are David Pochin, Lara DaRocha-Faria, Mark Braithwaite, Bill Thomson, Paul Jones, Karl Jackson, Richard Buck, Dan Williamson.
If you would like to support Pochin in its challenge and help to raise money for the NHS Christies Trust, please send your name and donation to Michelle Saltaire at Pochin's head office in Middlewich.
