Pochin completes Disley pub refurbishment

Pochin Construction has completed the £480,000 refurbishment of The Red Lion public house in Disley, near Stockport.

Working on behalf of Frederic Robinson, Pochin began the refurbishment in July last year with work including extensions and the introduction of a new green oak entrance feature.

Chris Whittaker, senior contacts manager at Pochin, said: "The refurbishment has totally transformed The Red Lion and I'm sure it will prove very popular. The programme was extremely tight but as always everyone worked exceptionally well as a team to make sure it was completed on time and to an excellent standard. We are proud of our continued involvement with Frederic Robinson on their rolling programme of new build and refurbishment works."

Project administrators and architects were Innex Design based in Warrington, in conjunction with Neil Robinson-Stanier, one of the brewery directors.
