Plans submitted for 13-acre Chipping scheme
Manchester-based HOW Planning has submitted a hybrid planning application on behalf of SCPi Bowland for a new hotel, leisure and residential development in the village of Chipping, Ribble Valley.
Plans for the 13.6-acre site centre around the complete refurbishment of the grade 2-listed Kirk Mill, which has been closed since 2010, to create an 18-bedroom hotel and bar restaurant. There will also be a 20-bedroom hotel and spa alongside.
SCPi Bowland is based in Bolton. It has delivered a number of planning schemes across the North West, including 76 King Street Manchester, The Albany in Liverpool and Victoria Building, Bury.
A barn will be converted to create seven holiday cottages. Outline planning permission is also being sought for 60 homes, split over two sites. Four units are designated as self-build plots.
