Planner promotion at GVA
GVA has promoted Hayley Knight to principal planner in its planning, development and regeneration team.
Knight joined GVA's Manchester office from GL Hearn in 2012 as a town planner. As principal planner she will take control of appraisals, negotiating and obtaining planning permission and advising clients on all aspects of policy, design requirements, mix of uses and planning conditions.
She has worked in the North West planning sector for almost 10 years.
Nicola Rigby, lead director of the Manchester planning, development and regeneration team, said: "Hayley's promotion coincides with a number of new instructions for the team. She has advised on some of our highest profile projects ever, including most recently the application for 500 new homes in Brinnington, Stockport. Her promotion is a sign both of her ability and attitude, but also our recognition of our market growing."
