Place North West expands with commercial hire
Place North West has appointed Dino Moutsopoulos as commercial director, following a period of continued growth for the regional property publisher and event organiser.
Moutsopoulos previously worked for national charity Age UK, Didsbury-based events agency Clear Presentations and music publisher Impromptu Publishing.
Educated in Manchester, he has a masters degree in public relations and is a board director of the international charity Musicians Action International.
Paul Unger, editor and managing director of Place North West, said: “We are very excited that Dino has joined us to lead our commercial approach. His ability to build strong client relationships and his commitment to quality client service makes him a great addition to the team.”
The Place team is now four strong. Jessica Middleton-Pugh joined in early 2014 as reporter, followed by Kirsty Butcher as editorial assistant earlier this year. Unger founded Place North West in 2007.
Moutsopoulos said: “Place has developed a fantastic reputation over the past few years and when I was approached to join the business I didn’t have to think twice.
“I am especially excited about the role as now is a great time to develop Place’s events and advertising platforms and with such a loyal following and the market picking up this is genuinely a great time to be here.”
Place North West is based in the Royal Exchange in Manchester, and delivers the latest property and regeneration news and commentary across the region, as well as delivering a strong calendar of industry-related events.
