Place North teases MIPIM programme
With 30 companies and local authorities on board as partners, the media group has shared how it will lead the Northern charge at the global expo with two dynamic panel sessions at the event’s UK stage.
Place North’s first panel at MIPIM will take place at 4:15pm on 11 March. “Faster, bigger, better – How can the North become the UK’s development driver?” will shine a spotlight on one of the region’s biggest assets: the close proximity between its cities. The relatively short distances between Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, York, and Newcastle provide an unrivalled opportunity for collaboration and synergy. Our group of experts will look at how the investors can make the most of this.
“Investible North: where should investors put their money?” will get to the heart of MIPIM with a straightforward rundown of some of the region’s most exciting projects – ones that have the potential to generate a sizeable return on investment and make a real difference. The panel session will start at 11:15am on 13 March.

In addition to these panel sessions, Place North will also be hosting a breakfast conference on 12 March in Cannes. Senior leaders from across the private and public sectors will debate Labour’s housing ambitions and what needs to be done to turbocharge the delivery of new homes.
Place’s popular arrival reception will return in 2025, with our delegation taking over Huracannes on 10 March. Both the arrival drinks and breakfast conference are for the Place North MIPIM delegation only, with invitations extended to national developers, investors, and government officials.
