Place and GM Chamber of Commerce announce partnership

Place North West and Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce have agreed a strategic partnership for the next 12 months to maximise the opportunities for growth in the North West property and construction industry.

The new agreement will see the two parties collaborate on various promotional campaigns and events, including the Chamber’s popular Property & Construction Annual Dinner and Construction Summit.

Dino Moutsopoulos, commercial director at Place North West, said: “This is an important milestone for the business and runs in tandem with our strategic goals over the next twelve months. Place want to expand into new industry sectors, engage with a wider audience and enhance brand recognition, particularly in construction.

“It’s fantastic that Place is able to align itself with a market-leading brand with a strong identity, the Chamber offers a highly sought-after membership which we’re looking forward to engaging with over the coming year.”

Jocelyne Underwood, property and construction lead at the Chamber, said: “We have wanted for some time to partner with an organisation like Place North West. The Chamber has moved in the last year to new premises and is growing rapidly. We want to attract top quality businesses to the Chamber and Place North West are just the company to help us do this.”

In addition to collaborating on existing events, both parties look forward to delivering a unique event around the week of MIPIM, the annual international property expo in Cannes in March 2016, of which Place North West is an official partner.

Place North West delivers daily regional news for the property and construction industry, with a subscriber base of 9000 industry professionals, website hits of 41,000 monthly as well as a strong calendar of industry events throughout the year.
