Taking advantage of opportunities presented to property and construction companies by the economic recovery will be the theme of this year's Place AGM, due to be held on Thursday 22 May.
How North West property companies cope with increasing competition from flagship pension fund coming out from London to buy regional assets; meeting demand for construction materials and tradesmen; these topics and more will be explored by the expert line-up of speakers at the annual state-of-the-region gathering.
Place AGM is a half-day free-to-attend afternoon event, taking place at City Tower in Piccadilly, Manchester.
Presenters confirmed so far include:
Michael Dall, Barbour ABI's lead economist, with an economic and property market overview to set the scene
Mike Banton, managing director, Artez, construction company based in Bolton, founded in 2010 by ex Urban Splash and Artisan director Banton

Shefali Talukdar, managing partner at Clough & Willis, said: "It's been widely reported that both the commercial and residential sectors are picking up and gaining momentum which is great to see. It feels like the market has turned a corner over the past 12 months but there are, of course, still challenges ahead. The speaker line up is fantastic so I hope this year's event will be a forum for debate and analysis from the leading figures operating in the North West property community."
