Pin makes Manchester office debut
Manchester-based Pin Property has appointed joint commercial property consultants, Canning O’Neill and Cushman & Wakefield, to market a 61,000 sq ft standalone office building in Sale, South Manchester following its acquisition from Strathclyde Pension Fund in September.
The building, to be renamed One, is Pin’s first office acquisition in Manchester. The building is one of two buildings that make up Dovecote Business Park and will now undergo a complete refurbishment.
Imran Younus, commercial and marketing director at Pin, said: “We purchased this scheme in response to the continued tightening of office supply in South Manchester. Having built up a strong portfolio in Warrington, we have been looking for new investment opportunities across the region. Works have commenced on site with completion scheduled for early summer next year.”
Mark Canning, director of Canning O’Neill, said: “This is a great opportunity for any occupier, particularly in light of the larger enquiries we are receiving for space in this area. The building is excellently located for direct access onto the M60 motorway via Junction 6 and has generous on site car parking. The building is also within walking distance of Sale Water Park Metrolink station.”
