Pexton leaves JLL for Harworth
Andrew Pexton has joined Harworth as regional director for the North West, filling the void left following Steven Knowles’ departure late last year.
Pexton has spent the last three and a half years as senior director in JLL’s industrial and logistics team. Prior to that, he spent more than 25 years at Avison Young.
He will take up his new role at Harworth in June.
“I was drawn to Harworth by its talented people, extensive portfolio and strong sense of purpose,” Pexton said.
“I’ve spent my whole career in the North West and know the huge potential of this region, so I’m looking forward to working with the Harworth team to help unlock it further.”
At Harworth, Pexton will lead Harworth’s Manchester-based North West team, managing a portfolio with the potential to deliver around 10m sq ft industrial space and 7,500 homes.
Harworth’s schemes include the 900-home Moss Nook brownfield regeneration scheme in St Helens, and a 1m sq ft logistics project at Wingates in Bolton.
Lynda Shillaw, chief executive of Harworth Group, said: “Our North West team are the driving force behind some of Harworth’s most exciting projects, working with stakeholders to support new homes, jobs and investment across Greater Manchester, Merseyside and beyond.
“Andrew has a wealth of experience working in the region and particularly in the industrial & logistics sector. I’m delighted to be welcoming to the team.”
