Peugeot takes 43,000 sq ft at Trafford Park

The car manufacturer has taken over a lease on a unit on Hibernia Way that was previously occupied by Nichirin UK.

Car parts manufacturer Nichirin, which relocated to Warrington last year, signed a 25-year lease on the 43,000 sq ft Trafford Park unit in 1999 and the firm has now assigned the lease to Peugeot with three years left to run.

The building, which features 4,000 sq ft of offices, was developed by Liberty Properties in 1999 and is owned by CBRE Global Investors.

Savills acted for Nichirin and M1 Agency acted for Peugeot.

Jonathan Williams, associate in the industrial team at Savills Manchester, said: “Trafford Park continues to be an extremely sought-after location for occupiers and is widely recognised as being one of the leading business parks in Europe.

“With increasing occupier demand and the lack of immediate good quality supply, we are beginning to see considerable rental growth in Trafford Park.”
