Performing arts college inks 8,000 sq ft Liverpool move
Rare Studio has signed a deal to occupy part of the second and third floors at Urban Splash’s Vanilla Factory, consolidating its estate.
Performing arts college Rare Studio is currently based at across four sites in Liverpool, including another Urban Splash building, 56 Wood Street.
However, the education provider, which prepares aspiring actors and dancers for professional careers, will move into a 8,000 sq ft of new space around the corner.
The move will see more than 200 full-time students at Rare Studio, which counts the foundations of former Liverpool FC footballers Jamie Carragher and Steven Gerrard among its funders, brought under the same roof for the first time.
Principal of Rare Studio Liverpool, Lindsay Inglesby, said: “For a city with creativity in its DNA, Rare Studio has become a vital pathway for young people to turn raw talent into sustainable careers in the arts.
“Bringing every student under one roof is something we’ve worked towards for years. Growth for us has never been about scale alone, it’s about creating the right environment for young people to thrive, feel supported and access genuine industry opportunities. Every decision we’ve made has been guided by that mission.”
