Pell Frischmann boosts Manchester ranks
Engineering consultancy Pell Frischmann has followed the addition of associate director Richard Manock with the recruitment of Nick Banks as principal engineer.
Banks is a drainage, highways and transport design specialist and formerly worked for Ramboll and Mott McDonald. He has wide-ranging major highway, urban regeneration, flood and civil engineering scheme design and consultancy experience.
Manock joined in August, moving from Curtins and bringing with him more than 30 years of civil engineering consultancy expertise and experience. This includes experience in the design of heavy civil infrastructure for ports, rail, highways, utilities and drainage for public and private sector clients. He is a former chairman and current treasurer of the CIHT North West.
Matthew Davies, Pell Frischmann’s divisional director responsible for the North West and Wales regions, said: “Richard and Nicholas bring experience, unique and specialist skills to enhance our consultancy offering to our clients. We have seen rapid yet organic growth in the region that is founded on delivery of a quality service and client satisfaction.”
Pell Frischmann’s Manchester office is currently working with John Sisk & Sons as the civils lead designer on the Port of Salford rail freight facility and Liverpool Waters strategic infrastructure.
The team is also delivering the highways and enabling works design for the Headbolt Lane railway station for Merseytravel and Knowsley Council, the Deeside Enterprise Zone park & ride facility, and substations for Metrolink, along with cycling infrastructure designs for Stockport Council and Bury Council.
