Pegasus scales up in Liverpool

The development consultancy has increased its presence in the city with the appointment of three senior team members, three promotions, and an office expansion.

Pegasus Group has doubled the size of its Liverpool office, taking an additional 1,400 sq ft at No4 St Paul’s Square. The company has also recruited Paul Alderson, Emer Green, and Helen Young to its ranks. Pegasus’ Liverpool team now stands at 18.

Alderson has joined Pegasus from Serenity Parks, Green came from Asda, and Young made the move to Liverpool from Turley’s London office.

Alongside the new faces, Darren Muir has been promoted to planning director and will lead Pegasus’s Liverpool planning team. Muir has enjoyed a swift rise through the ranks since joining the firm from Cass Associates in 2020.

Senior director Simon Tarr will lead Pegasus’ Liverpool office.

Harry Travis has been promoted to principal acquisition surveyor and Lydia Jose has been promoted to associate urban designer.

“This is an important moment for Liverpool and our expansion and growth reflects the city’s development,” Muir said.

“Paul, Emer and Helen bring a wealth of skills and experience to our team and will further strengthen our planning, land and property, and design capabilities.”

Overall, Pegasus Group has more than 400 staff operating from 15 locations throughout the UK.
