Pegasus launches Liverpool office
Planning consultancy Pegasus Group has opened a Liverpool office at The Plaza on Old Hall Street, with Neil Culkin and Amy Rainsford joining from Matthews & Goodman to head up the base.
Culkin, planning director, will manage the office, supported by planner Rainsford. Culkin has worked on schemes including an office-to-residential project at Columbus Quay in Liverpool for Worthington Owen and a residential conversion of a grade two-listed building at Dees Hill, Chester for Lister Carter. Culkin is also currently working on a scheme at the Beetham Tower in Liverpool city centre.
Regional director, Seb Tibenham, commented: “The investment reflects our ongoing confidence in the North West and builds on our recent appointment of Richard Cook from New Economy and Kate Lowe as an assistant planner in the Manchester office.
“Neil has excellent contacts in the Merseyside, Cheshire and North Wales area and I know a number of our clients are already very enthused by this. The ability to easily pool resources across the two offices whilst having a local base in the North West’s two major cities offers the best of both worlds and demonstrates we take our role in Merseyside as seriously as we do in Greater Manchester.”
Pegasus is working on the St Modwen development at Stonebridge Business Park. The first phase of the development, a 69,000 sq ft parcel distribution facility for express delivery service DPD, was opened in 2016 and construction has commenced on the second phase to create 67,000 sq ft of speculative warehouse industrial space across four units.
Pegasus Group is sponsoring the upcoming Place North West Liverpool Development Update due to be held at the end of September.
