Pegasus hires heritage principal as expansion continues

Simon Britt has joined Pegasus Group’s Manchester office as principal heritage consultant, a move that takes the consultant’s team in the North West up to 22 people.

Britt joined from Bassetlaw Council earlier this month, where he was also principal conservation officer, and will work out of Pegasus’ Manchester office. In his new role he has been given the remit of strengthening the group’s national heritage services.

Other new hires in recent months include geographic information systems specialist Jonathan Craig; Ann Daniels, who has been hired from Rapleys; and Georgina Southwell who has joined the Liverpool office as a graduate planner. Eleanor Rawsthorne has also been added to the Manchester team, again as a graduate planner.

The group now has 22 staff in the North West, up from 13 around a year ago. The group set up its North West base in 2010, headed up by executive Sebastian Tibenham, and expanded into Liverpool in 2016 with an office led by regional director Neil Culkin.

The Liverpool office has since expanded with the team relocating from Bruntwood’s The Plaza to No4 St Paul’s Square in June last year.
